On 5th May, Dr. Shovan Kumar Rath, Internationally acclaimed Pain physician, organized two impactful health check-up camps aimed at addressing chronic pain among elderly patients. These camps, held at Bhapur Block in Banpur and Tumuraputsasan Panchayat office in Banpur, received tremendous support from local authorities and community members. Bhapur Block Camp:
The first health check-up camp took place at Bhapur Block in Banpur. The event garnered significant attention and was graced by the presence of Banpur BDO, Smt. Sheetal Agarwal, who commended the efforts of #Painfreeodisha and #healthvillagehospital in their commitment to improving the lives of individuals living with chronic pain. Approximately 200 elderly patients were examined during the camp, and free medicines were distributed to those in need.
Tumuraputsasan Panchayat Office Camp:
The second camp was held at the Tumuraputsasan Panchayat office in Banpur. Sarpanch ji, Mr. Akhaya Kumar Sethi, was present to support the initiative and ensure its success. The camp aimed to provide comprehensive health check-ups and treatment options to elderly individuals suffering from chronic pain. Similar to the previous camp, around 200 patients received medical attention, and free medicines were provided to assist them in managing their condition.
