Pain should never become a lifelong burden, especially for people living in rural and remote communities where access to healthcare and awareness is often limited. With this vision, Health Village Hospital, in collaboration with Pain Free Odisha, organized a special Pain Awareness Campaign and Training Session aimed at empowering grassroots social workers and NGO volunteers from Nayagarh.
The program brought together dedicated community leaders who play a vital role in connecting healthcare initiatives with people at the grassroots level. Through this training session, participants were educated on the importance of recognizing chronic pain conditions, promoting early intervention, and guiding individuals toward appropriate pain management support.
A key highlight of the event was the interactive session conducted by Dr. Shovan Kumar Rath, a leading advocate for pain awareness and management. Dr. Rath personally engaged with the participants, sharing valuable insights on the causes of chronic pain, the significance of timely treatment, and the role of compassionate care in improving patients’ quality of life.
To acknowledge their commitment towards community welfare, the participating NGO workers and social volunteers were felicitated for their efforts in spreading awareness and supporting healthcare initiatives in their respective regions.
